Well the SuperGP is now officially over and it was a tough gig to have to attend as you can see by the photo below but someone had to step up to the plate.

Even with the no show of the A1's the crowds still came out in force on Saturday and although they were down on Sunday compared to the Indy 300 last year it was still a big day.

The V8's really came to the party to save the day and to be honest I don't think anyone really missed the open wheelers plus the old boys brought out their cars in the legends race letting those of us old enough to remember the cars relive a bit of nostalgia.

For the most part I spent most of my time getting shots for JudJam Promotions corporate clients who had the entire 11th floor of the Holiday in booked out and this involved me spending a lot of time with the Girls from Poleverized Pole Dancing studio who were the Promo girls for the weekend..... like I said it was a tough gig.

Select photos from the event are up in the Photo Gallery HERE but if you are one of the JudJam geusts or just want a full DVD full of all 2800 + photos from the entire four days including the uncensored pics of the less inhibited ladies then drop me an email to This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it and I will let you know how you can order.

Evolving Photos will be the official photographer at the Nitro Super GP this year for JudJam Promotions and entertainment.

JudJam has booked the entire 11th floor of the Gold Coast Holiday Inn one of the premier ontrack hotels and evolving Photos will be there the entire time capturing the fun and festivities.

The Nitro Super GP was formerly the Gold Coast Indy 300 but this years Inagural new event will play host to the pure Aussie thunder of the V8 Supercars Championship Series with the lightning-fast action of the A1GP World Cup of Motorsport Powered by Ferrari, it’s the start of a new street-racing era.

All the normal on and offtrack events will be there this year but the exciting news is This year the Gold Coast will see A1GP hit the streets of Surfers Paradise for the very first time! You’ll see nation vs. nation battle it out, as these super fast A1GP Powered by Ferrari cars race between the high rises and compete in one of motor sport’s most dynamic racing series.

With over 20 nations competing in the series from Australia and New Zealand to Germany, China, America, India and South Africa the A1GP is promising to be a great event.

Also close to my heart will be the Hayman’s Electrical MINI Challenge - 2009 is the second year that the MINI Challenge concept has been held in Australia and this tremendously popular group of (fully factory backed, spec’d and race bred) John Cooper Works Racecars. These performance handling race rockets reach speeds of up to 240kph and can rip from 0-100kph in 6.1 seconds. The Nitro SuperGP will see the Hayman’s Electrical MINI Challenge in round 6 of the Series and I can't wait to see it.

For those attending I will be posting nightly updates to the Photo Gallery of the days activities as well as producing a photo DVD of the entire event after its all said and done.
